The Olof Palme International Center is the Swedish labour movement’s umbrella organisation for international solidarity and advocacy.
Working with civil society organisations, trade unions and party affiliated organisations all over the world and often in very complex settings including armed conflict, authoritarian governments and shrinking civic space, the Palme Center supports its partners as key agents of change for democracy and human rights, peace and dialogue, gender equality, workers’ rights and just transition.
Michael Hammer led an international Blomeyer & Sanz team of evaluators from Lithuania, Spain, France, the Philippines, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey and the UK to evaluate the Palme Center’s global CSO Programme 2020-2024.
The aim was to understand outcomes and global impact of the programme and gain insights into the Palme Center’s evolving management practice and culture in preparation of the next phase of the Palme Center’s International Strategy.
