After several years of work with an amazing group of authors from the Global South and North, academia and practice, our new book, the Elgar Companion to Health and the Sustainable Development Goals is finally out.
We deliberately looked at Health in the context of the SDGs from a perspective of access including through the lens of participation and power, health systems, gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights (also connected to climate change), food and the environment, urbanisation, and governance and accountability.
A big thank you to Prof Susannah Mayhew, my co-editor, all our authors, and everyone at Edward Elgar Publishers who worked with us in such a supportive way.
The ebook is available here with the first chapter open access
